About CloudContacts
Welcome to CloudContacts!
In the middle of 2008, I arrived back at the office after yet another networking conference with a big stack of business cards. I put a rubber band around the stack and placed them next to the other stacks I collected over the past couple of years.
Later that week I launched a new feature on my blog and realized I had no easy way to tell all of the people listed on all of those business cards in all of those rubber banded stacks from all of those events about my big launch. All of us spend so much time networking, collecting tons of business cards but if we don't connect with our new contacts, it's very likely they will forget about us. I knew I could buy a business card scanner and sit there and feed them in one-by-one. I could also start typing all of their contact information into Outlook manually. But there just had to be a better way, right?
I began to search online for a solution and after lots of research, I came up empty. So I began to build a solution. That solution became CloudContacts and we launched near the end of 2008.
Since the initial launch, we've processed business cards from every state in the U.S., every country in Europe, South America, Asia and most of the rest of the world (still working on a few more countries in Africa to complete the world).
We've continued to innovate since our initial launch and will continue to do so well into the future. You can read feedback from some of our absolutely awesome customers.
If you have any questions about our CloudContacts service or about business cards or networking, give us a call or email. There is nothing I value more within a company than customer service and you can rest assured your experience around here will be awesome. Thanks for reading the story about how CloudContacts came to life and we look forward to processing your business cards and unlocking the value in your networking!
